Join us for a Crafty Weekend Away near the beach.
We’re a real crafy bunch at Constable Road, and welcome like minded people to join us.
We believe there’s nothing better than being with friends, laughing, relaxing and of course… crafting.
If the idea of spending a weekend crafting appeals, then we have just the right destination for you.
A self catered bungalow near the sea, in the traditional seaside town of Hornsea, East Yorkshire. 2 minutes’ walk to the beach and 5 minutes’ walk into town.
We welcome up to two dogs, not just you and your human companions. 🙂
This will be a fun weekend. You will arrive on Friday (after 3pm), and spend the evening chilling with your friends, having a stroll along the promenade or dining out in one of the local restaurants or pubs. If the weather is nice, you can have a BBQ in the garden and enjoy a relaxing evening at the seaside.
Saturday and Sunday will be your crafting days, and you’ll have a choice of what the group would like to make on each day. Leaving around 4pm on Sunday.
Crafting Workshops
As a group, you will choose 2 crafts from the list below. You will complete one on Saturday and the other on Sunday.

Crochet Workshop Weekend
If you’re looking for a weekend away Crocheting, then we have dedicated weekends for beginners and intermediates.
We also have a Christmas Wreath Making Workshop in December.
- Crochet – Granny Square or Baby Blanket (beginners)
- Crochet – Hat, Scarf or Snood (beginners)
- Christmas Crochet – Christmas Tree bunting + Christmas Stocking (beginners)
- Christmas Wreath + Christmas Bunting.
- Crochet – Blanket or Cushion (intermediate).
This will be a self catering weekend, but lunch will be provided on Saturday and Sunday, whilst you’re crafting. There will also be tea, coffee, juice and breakfast items provided.
At the end of the weekend, not only will you take away memories you’ll treasure forever, you’ll also have the items you’ve made or started (blankets) during the weekend.
Constable Road Holiday Accommodation
The property has 3 bedrooms (SuperKing, Twin & Single), fully equipped kitchen, spacious lounge with log burner, light & bright conservatory and deep leather sofas.
Every effort has gone into ensuring your crafting weekend away, will be everything and more you want it to be. You just need to bring food, clothes and any craft items you want to add into your creations.
Our aim for your weekend is that you, Relax, Unwind, Learn something new and Make Memories.

The price is £800 for the weekend (£160 per person if 5 attending). This includes all kits, crafting supplies and lunch on Saturday & Sunday.
Available for ages 13+ with accompanying adult.
Tea/coffee/juice, a range of breakfast foods and lunch on Saturday & Sunday will be provided, otherwise this is a self catering weekend.
