Got back from my break at Constable Road today. What can I say…we didn’t want to come home!! I’ve stayed in a number of holiday homes and this one has been by far the best. Amanda and Simon haven’t left a stone unturned to make sure that you have everything you need. Cannot recommend this place highly enough because….. the bungalow is gorgeous with everything you need, my 2 little dogs loved the large enclosed garden, it literally is less than 2 mins to the beach, hot fresh donuts less than 2 mins away, same with seaside fish and chips, amusements less than 2 mins away also. One of the highlights though was going to Flamborough (20 min away) and watching baby seals playing in the sea….oh my days! There’s also a great restaurant there…do not miss this as a day out! There’s fantastic coastal walks/routes and it’s a five minute walk into the town centre. Honestly, I would recommend Constable Road 110%. Incidentally, so would my mother – and she’s not easy to please🤣 Oh, and so would my niece…and she’s a stroppy 16 year old, so that should tell you something!!!

An Absolute Gem

This accommodation is an absolute gem.

Great location right near the beach and everything you could wish for inside the property.

Really clean and inviting when you walk in and wonderful little extra touches like a goody bag for my furry friend and towels for cleaning him down. Makes a massive difference not having to think of anything.

So warm and relaxing.

We will definitely be back maybe in winter to enjoy the fire!!

Fantastic Break

Recently returned from a week at Constable Road and was so impressed. The property is just perfect. Everything is really clean and I think they have thought of everything you may need but might have forgotten to bring. The garden is great and really dog friendly, we didn’t have to worry while they were out there if they were safe because we were confident they were. The solar lights that come on at night around the garden are lovely. The property is in an area that is really near the beach but is also a really quiet area. The furniture is really comfortable and we slept really well on the bed.
The dog gift pack was unexpected but gratefully received they loved it and it also put us at ease as the hosts are obviously dog lovers too. We also got basics left too which was lovely.
 The hosts checked everything was ok on the evening we arrived.
 A short walk to the beach. Dogs are allowed on the beach near the life boat launch May-October but it’s not that much further to walk up to there.
 We had beautiful weather and didn’t venture far this time as we just wanted to relax and didn’t need too. We did walk in to the small town which isn’t far and we got everything we needed from there.
 We left feeling really refreshed and would definitely stay at Constable Road again

We had a fantastic few days break, it was so peaceful in the bungalow, yet busy on the sea front not 2 minutes away.

Everything Amanda and Simon has done is above and beyond to make it the most enjoyable, stress free holiday.

Don’t worry if you forget anything because be assured Amanda will have thought of it down to spare toothbrushes or combs etc.

A lovely touch to include the doggy welcome pack to make our pets feel special.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Constable Road, it is a comfortable, very clean house.  Everything had been catered for including the dog – I never thought Pip would have her own welcome pack too. We normally take kitchen items with us but didn’t use them this time, we didn’t lack anything at all. The beds are comfortable and it’s so quiet at night we slept really well, additional blankets where welcome some nights. The garden is a lovely space, private and secure for dogs and you have supplied everything needed for a BBQ, secure lock up for bikes and the lights at night are a nice touch.

We visited Beverley and Hull and were impressed with how many places allow dogs in, at Hull the parking is £3 for 24 hours at the moment so we went there twice to find the places around the harbour we missed.  Bridlington is a lovely place and we were there when that poor whale had beached itself sadly passing away – we never found out if they managed to get it off the beach before the coronation weekend?

We were hoping to have a walk down to the end of Spurn Head but let your visitors know that no dogs are allowed in the nature reserve at any time in the year, we did find a walk from the visitors centre and came accross some deer in the fields and loads of birds.

We have already recommended Constable Road to friends as we have nothing but praise for how well you look after guests and ensure everything is perfect. The keysafe box is one the easiest I’ve used as well.

Many thanks for a wonderful weeks holiday, we will definitely stay again.

Fully Secure & Pet Friendly Garden

Beautiful bungalow with a fully secure and pet friendly garden. Very comfortable beds and very generous grocery shop waiting for us upon arrival along with welcome gifts for our dog.

Very helpful hosts who were able to assist us very quickly.

We would definitely recommend and will be returning ourselves in the future.
