This cottage was ideal for a relaxed holiday of walking and chilling out. Everything had been thought of and provided and the owner couldn’t have been more attentive. Thank you to them for all their efforts.

A real home from home. Lovely, clean, very well appointed bungalow. A large enclosed garden for the dog. We had a very comfortable stay.We found a welcome pack of groceries for the humans and a goodie bag for our dog. Both were very much appreciated. Lots of things to do at the bungalow (jigsaws, reading materials etc) for the days when the weather wasn’t so good and/or we didn’t want to venture out. We were able to organise a Tesco delivery shortly after arrival without any problems. There are the usual seaside eateries. The beach is only a three minute walk away, we made our way along to Hornsea Bay which we all enjoyed immensely. Good communications with the owner, nothing too much trouble. Chatted with the local residents, fishermen on the beach, mostly everyone we passed said hello. A very friendly environment. We would definitely recommend a stay at Constable Road / Rosyln.

This is a five star bungalow. Extremely well presented and was clean and comfortable. The. Little extras such as shampoo, shower gel and other items in the bathroom were a lovely surprise. The welcome pack of groceries was the best we have ever had. The location was great with just a five minutes walk to the beach. Would recommend to anyone.

We thought the cottage was so very comfortable and well equipped. The attention to detail and welcome pack were beyond anything we have experienced before. The location was so close to the beach and the weather brilliant. We chose a cottage in Yorkshire were my husband comes from to enable family to visit. There were plenty of choices for fish and chips. I really appreciated the magazines and spent the week reading them which I would not find time to do at home. Enjoyed by all. Customer care was excellent.

Amazing, could not do enough for us. Everything you might need was there if you needed it. We are looking to book again next year. Thanks for allowing us to stay in your lovely home, and all the helpful advice and info.

We had a lovely stay with everything we wanted and more. Amanda has thought of everything. The bungalow was lovely and clean and perfect for us and our 4 year old granddaughter, the road itself was so quiet and the park and beach were only a few minutes away. Thanks also for all of the extras provided, bread, milk. butter, apple juice, cake and more – they were all much appreciated .
What a fantastic place this is to stay! We loved the accommodation, from the cleanliness to it’s layout, everything about this gorgeous bungalow is first class. Our host was so friendly and helpful and answered any questions that we had, promptly and her recommendations also helped us during our stay. Our two dogs were in their element with the biggest dilemma for them being where to go for a walk? A nice park a short walk in one direction, or, the beach, a stone’s throw away in another direction? Either way, they loved it. We will definitely be repeat visitors to Hornsea and without a doubt, will be booking to stay at this wonderful accommodation in the future!
Its hard to know where to start with reviewing this wonderful, home from home, cottage! The communication from Amanda was clear and concise, friendly and helpful. She supplied paperwork to explain everything you might want to know about the bungalow and what is available plus magazines and nice introductory booklets. The accommodation is immaculately clean and fresh, which was a delight to walk into! Everything you could need and more is available, from high quality crockery and cutlery, to pots pans, dishwasher and washing machine and from the excellent quality of the beds and their linen (1 super-king size and 2 doubles, plus a single) to the touches like a selection of blankets in the lounge if you should need them. There are games and books at the property, which you can use and a log burner. The garden is well kept and laid out with a lovely space for outside dining. There is a nice conservatory in which to eat or just enjoy sitting in. Amanda was a brilliant host and assured me that I could ask any questions that needed answering. She left gifts of kites for my two children for when we arrived, which was such a thoughtful touch, along with cake, milk and butter, eggs and bread etc. The location is very close to the sea, on a quiet and very pleasant street. The bungalow has its own parking space on the front, gated drive There is a leisure centre at the end of the road there are a couple of fish and chip shops very close by, if needed. Amanda let us know that there was a bike festival going on the weekend we stayed in Hornsea. We went along and it was a really good day out. There are local walks to do, a friendly pub and the Floral Hall for an inexpensive lunch. It’s a really nice, unspoilt area for children to enjoy a simple, beachy holiday. My children are already asking to return there next year and I wouldn’t even think of trying any other accommodation after experiencing the luxury of ‘Roslyn’ on Constable Road.
