Well, what can I say, we have just returned from 3 nights at Amanda’s bungalow where we celebrated our wedding anniversary, and it is stunning! really well equipped, everything you could possibly ever need, spotlessly clean, great location.

Amanda provided all the instructions needed up front and was really great at communicating with us, the doggy welcome bag was very much appreciated by our dog Buddy who loved the toys and treats, and our welcome treats were lovely too, very thoughtful.

This is the best Airbnb we have ever stayed in, great location for the beach and other amenities, we were super lucky with the weather and had a fabulous time! Will definitely be back!

Review from guest who stayed with us for our first Christmas at Constable Road.

It was a family affair as parents live on the same street. What a lovely way to all spend Christmas together. Staying in Constable Road felt just like being at home (but with better decorations that I didn’t have to put up!), so warm, comfortable and relaxing. The tree outside was stunning and the garlands around the conservatory were a beautiful (as were all the treats you left us).

A perfect ,cosy spot near the sea ,a 2 minute walk to the beach. Myself and hubble are here for my birthday weekend with our 2 furbabies. Absolutely brilliant for walks along the coast and to come back to the lovely woodburner . Sleeps 5 with 2 large bedrooms and a single room. A lovely enclosed garden for the Pooches. enough room for 2 vehicles in the front drive. Amanda has been very attentive to all our enquiries during our stay especially when I got stuck with the keysafe which a quick phone call was rectified. Lots of little touches like tea, coffee, sugar, milk,loaf of bread ,butter,orange juice, crisps ,cake plus lots more which was very much appreciated after a 3 hour journey for us. Plenty of local shops and eateries within walking distance. The local Greene King pub, The Marine, on the seafront with little huts to sit outside with the Pooches if you wish to stop for a bite to eat & drink. Thank you for letting us stay Amanda 🙏 ❤️

We set off to Hornsea on a cold and wet miserable morning, but once at Constable Road we were greeted with a very warm welcome; the heating was on, the log burner was set, the “Welcome Basket” for ourselves was very well received, as was the “Doggy Treats” bag for our 2 beagles, Inca and Rosey; we all instantly felt at home !
The bungalow was very clean and comfortable, the bed was so comfy too, enhanced with good quality pillows and Egyptian cotton bed linen … and towels in the bathroom too.
The garden was very secure for our precious hounds, and parking was off street on a private drive, behind closed gates.
Hornsea is an extremely friendly community and a lovely little town with lots of interesting independent shops and cafe/ bars to explore, and I loved the Hornsea Lions charity shop as well.
We walked along the beach and promenade and had coffee under the verandah at The Floral Hall; we travelled further afield too to Beverley, Filey, Scarborough and Whitby, and spent relaxing evenings watching Netflix !
… our only regret was that our little break came to an end far too soon, but we will certainly return.

The best we’ve ever stayed in

We’ve stayed in a few cottages and lodges over the years and this was easily the best. We had excellent communication with Amanda from the moment we booked to when we left. Nothing was too much trouble and they really have thought of everything. Not only was there a few essentials for us, there was even a goody bag for our dogs!! We’ve never had that before and we had to check it was for them!! The bungalow has everything you could ever need, a proper “home from home”. There’s a nice sized secured garden for the dogs to play in. The location is superb. It’s less than 5 mins walk to the beach and chip shop – an essential at the seaside – and about 10 mins walk to the town centre. Now we need to plan next years visit.
